We are sorry to have to advise members that at the meeting held on 2nd February our Club Management Committee took a decision to withdraw Monte Mar from the Winter League with immediate effect.
Over the last few weeks we have struggled to field a full team and have had to select members who have never played in leagues previously, or even played Rinks before, but who have thankfully supported our Club by playing in the Winter League. We are also currently still feeling the full effects of Brexit and in addition we have a number of members with individual health problems at this time. So, in the circumstances, our Committee felt it appropriate that we withdraw from the Winter League.
