The Management Committee have given careful consideration to the current Covid situation and decided to continue the Club´s restriction on not allowing visiting teams to Monte Mar or our members playing in any capacity at other Clubs.
We have also taken the decision to enter a team in the LLB Summer League as that league will not commence until the end of March 2022. The Committee will consider the Covid situation at that time with regard to our participation in the league, or not.
We have been advised by the LLB that a number of Covid cases have been confirmed at San Miguel and El Cid. The Management Committee have therefore decided to introduce the following safeguards with immediate effect :-
a) Trolleys must be sanitised before and after each game.
b) Sanitisers are to be at both ends of the rink to be used during the match.
c) Masks should be carried and worn when the social distancing limit of 1.5 metres is not possible (Changing rooms as an example). This is in line with advice provided by the Competition Secretary for all matches.
In addition, the Committee will keep a register of members details regarding the number of vaccinations they have had. This will apply to both bowling and social members. Therefore, would you please supply this information, which is on your certificate, to a member of the Management Committee.
