On behalf of the Management Committee, I wish to advise members that following another major operation for Mike Farrelly, back in the U.K., we have been advised that he and Barbara will not be renewing their Club Membership in September, as it is unlikely that they will be in Spain again anytime in the near future.
On behalf of the membership I have written to both Mike and Barbara thanking them for the work and support they have given to the Club since it´s inception. I have also thanked Mike for his services to the Club, which covers eight years as Chairman and five years as Vice Chairman.
We now require a new Vice Chairman, therefore if you are interested in standing for this position, please advise the Club Secretary as soon as possible. The Secretary will then advise you of what action to take and in the event of more than one candidate coming forward, there will be an election.
